Low Cervix Menstrual Cup w/ Ball Handle, Shorty, Classic Firmness

$25.95
(42 reviews) Write a Review

This low cervix menstrual cup is called a shorty. The reduced height makes it perfect for users with low cervix position/ shorter than average vaginal canal. The softer Classic cup provides a more secure seal and resists compression by strong pelvic muscles but it can be more challenging to insert and remove.

This menstrual cup is featured in a beautiful Sapphire blue, Amethyst purple or clear color in the shorty size range -perfect for users with a lower than average cervix.

The handle is available in all three styles:

a small ball - our least noticeable handle style, most comfortable

a ring - most noticeable and easiest to find style for users worried about  not being able to reach their cup easily

a stem - great for beginners, this style is comfortable and easy to find

This listing is for the BALL handle

Your MeLuna low cervix menstrual cup will come with the following items:

  • the MeLuna cup of your choice
  • a free cleaning brush for the air holes

    Love it! Never going back!

This is the first cup I've tried, after extensive reviews it seemed like the best choice (low cervix, and 3 vaginal births) and I couldn't be happier! So much more comfortable than tampons (especially removing when only partially full); worked great overnight and while working out too.

Low Cervix Menstrual Cup in Amethyst Purple, Shorty, Classic Firmness

Posted by Gigi on Nov 24th 2020

It is my first time using m. cup., I think it's overall giving me a positive experience. Beside of worrying (it actually happened) of the leakage, I barely feel the existence of it.
As a beginner, it really took me quite a long time to taking it out (I had time using more than 1 hour for just taking it out, it frustrated me a lot, but I believe that it is only the matter of practice.
Therefore, I'm still happy with what I chose and recommend it to someone who willing to have a breakthrough. :)
    Therefore, over

    MeLuna Shorty Cup

Posted by Amy S. on Oct 20th 2020

I found MeLuna through the NYT article comparing menstrual cups (a valuable resource for choosing your first cup!). I selected the Shorty cup in medium, and after some trial and error with insertion/removal, it did great! No leakage, and I actually forgot I had it in a couple times! I will note that due to birth control, I have light/medium flow, and if I had a heavy flow such that I needed to empty my cup at work, that would be more complicated. As it stands, I was able to go all day without emptying it, but your mileage may vary. It was especially nice for overnight use; I don’t like to use tampons at night, and I hate being woken up when you move and there’s that ominous game of “will my pad stay in place or do I need to be running to the bathroom?”

I’m not sure if my cup helped my cramps (which are largely caused by clots passing), but they weren’t worse. It will be interesting to try next cycle.
Cups generally take some extra time if you’re doing it right and sterilizing upon removal, plus dealing with a small mess, but to me it’s worth it. Tampons gave me worse cramps and a yeast infection, so I’m hopeful that I can have a better period experience and create less waste with cups. After 20 years of menstruation, I wish I would have tried a cup sooner!

    Best cup ever!

Posted by Kaylee on Oct 13th 2020

I have used a few different cups. This one is by far the best! I was struggling every time to get it in far enough and in the right place. I haven’t had any trouble at all with this one. I can’t feel it at all! I will be getting another one!

This is so much more comfortable than the other menstrual cup brand I've tried. Definitely recommend it!

    Best I’ve tried!

Posted by Chrissy Caycho on Aug 25th 2020

So I started using a cup 3 months ago, and this was the 5th one I purchased. I had almost given up because I could always feel them and couldn’t get them right, finally I found this one which was nearly and inch shorter than all the others. So far I am in love! Works exactly how people told me it should which is what made me try a cup in the first place. I don’t have super heavy cycles but I feel like this little cup will still out preform the biggest tampons.
Absolutely love the ball tip option because the string type ones were very irritating. Love that it’s purple, love the packaging, love the firmness of the product, And it’s still easy to fold. Thank you! Best cup ever. or at least best of the 5 I have by a long shot.

So glad I found MeLuna Shorty!

Posted by Meg on Aug 18th 2020

I struggled with another brand's standard sized cup. I had many issues with leaking and it was a nightmare. Luckily some internet research led me to MeLuna Shorty cups. It fits like a glove and I have had ZERO problems with leaking! I am very active and find that it shifts during my workouts (but again, no leaks), so I may purchase the firmer cup next time.

    Low Cervix

Posted by Sarah on Aug 5th 2020

This is better than other cups I have used, but I still had to cut the ball stem off which is a bummer. The other cup I can tolerate was starting to suction to my cervix which is quite painful. This may be my new go-to but I will likely get a smaller size for my lighter days to see if I can keep the stem on.
