    So much better than expected!

I am a very petite person and a few years ago I tried using NuvaRing for a birth control but ended up switching because I was too small for the ring size and I would literally force it out throughout the day. So when my sister raved about meluna I was hesitant thinking that I would never find a size that would actually fit. But I did a lot of research comparing sizes and different brands and I love the meluna offers not only a variety in widths but also in lengths. I can put in my cup easily, no leaks, and best of all, I don't even know its there. Consider me permanently switched.

Shorty - I feel like Goldilocks...

It's really small, first I got another brand (also a small) from my local drug store, it's too big, I was hoping the shorty would be a perfect fit, nope, it's too small, I really need something halfway between the two!

    Good Cup

Posted by Jess on Sep 9th 2018

After some years (about 4 I think?) using the Diva Cup, I made the switch to MeLuna. While the Diva was a good cup, I found that it was somewhat long and could be uncomfortable at times as a result of it falling and sticking out. Because of this, I got the shorty MeLuna and haven’t had any problems with it sticking out uncomfortably. Inserting takes some practice, since the cup is very small (I got the medium size) but once it’s in it doesn’t move and it doesn’t leak. I considered getting the athletic firmness but decided against it. The cup is on the softer side and I can see that it’s being reshaped and becoming more ovular, but I haven’t had any leaks. The athletic firmness may be easier to insert as it will snap open more easier since it’s more stiff. I am 20, 5’6”, and have never delivered a baby and found that the medium shorty in regular firmness with the round end overall works well. Insertion takes practice but the end is comfortable and it doesn’t leak. I also like that MeLuna offers more ways to customize and offers colors! I reccomend it.

    Classic Sapphire Shorty

This cup is amazing! I am a small person with a low cervix and had always struggled with my diva cup. It was really uncomfortable and always felt like it was talking out so I never felt confident wearing it. When I found out I could get a smaller cup I was really excited. The shorty has been perfect! I can't even feel it when it's is and it's so easy to use.

    Classic sapphire shorty

I really wanted this product to work. I work outdoors and am often nowhere near a bathroom all day. I have a very low cervix and my front wall is collapsed. The fiest day of my period it seemed like it might work well, though still very near the opening and close to hanging out. By the second day, most of it was hanging out and not comfortable. I researched and this seemed to be my best bet. Unfortunately my body wasnt right for it

    MeLuna shorty works

Posted by Unknown on Jul 20th 2018

I heard about menstrual cups after I had 2 kids. I did some research and purchased a medium and large Luna cup because I had had two kids back to back and many sites said I would need a larger cup post partum. Well the large cup was so huge it stuck out immediately, the medium Luna cup was also so uncomfortable that I could only wear it at night and couldn’t stand to walk around with it in. I did some more research and found the MeLuna shorty. I have used it 2 days in a row with no leakage and no discomfort at all! I love it! And finally I can ditch the tampons and pads. Everyone’s anatomy is different and I’m so glad that I decided to try the shorty even after two vaginal births.

    Classic Shorty

Posted by Bree on Jul 11th 2018

I bought the Luna as my first menstrual cup. It was easy to use and seemed comfortable until about an hour in. I have endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, and IBS. Basically chronic pelvic pain and I couldn’t wear tampons anymore. The Luna started giving me horrible cramps and I thought I was just going to have to wear pads for the rest of my periods life. I researched again and saw this was a great option for young girls and I thought I’d give it one last try. It works so well. I have no cramping from it..actually I don’t even feel it. It’s super small so I was worried, but it fits perfectly. I’ve never had children so I figured the smallest was the best. It’s a little tricky because it’s so small, but super easy to place. I’ve never leaked or had any problems with it. I bleed twice a month so I use it almost constantly. It’s easy to clean and holds suction very well. It’s super easy to pull out too. If you have problems like I do or severe cramping..I’d give this a chance. I wish I had heard about this cup first. It’s definitely chronic pelvic pain friendly.
