Shorty Small is designed for users who need a cup that is both very narrow and very short. This may be related to scarring, surgery, radiation treatment, injury, or certain medical conditions.

Most low cervix users without these specific concerns will be better served by Shorty Medium, Large, or XL.

Shorty Medium

Shorty Medium is commonly chosen by users of all ages who have not given birth vaginally and have a lighter flow.

The shorter cup body is designed for a low cervix or shorter vaginal canal. It may be a better fit if standard-height cups feel too long, press against your cervix, sit too close to the vaginal opening, or cause discomfort.

Firmness: Sport

MeLuna Sport is our firmest cup material. It is designed to resist compression from strong pelvic floor muscles and maintain its shape during exercise, high-impact activity, or other situations where a more flexible cup may collapse or lose its seal.

Sport firmness may be a good choice if:

You have strong pelvic floor muscles.
You exercise regularly or participate in high-impact activities.
You have experienced leaking because a cup collapses or loses its seal.
You prefer a firmer cup that opens with more resistance to compression.

Important: The firmer material creates a stronger seal, which can make breaking the seal and folding the cup for removal more challenging. MeLuna Sport is not recommended for beginners or for users with limited finger dexterity or grip strength.

Handle: Stem

The Stem Handle provides additional reach while remaining flexible. It can be helpful if you prefer a little extra length to locate and guide the cup during removal.

The stem may be trimmed gradually if it feels too long. Always remove the cup before trimming, trim only a small amount at a time, and take care not to cut into the base of the cup.

How the Nupsi Extension Works

The Nupsi attaches to the MeLuna Ring Handle to provide additional reach. The extension can add up to approximately 55 mm of additional length, making this our longest menstrual cup handle configuration.

You can customize the extension length if needed rather than living with more length than feels comfortable.

Important: The extended handle helps you locate and guide your cup during removal. Always release the cup’s seal before removing it rather than pulling the cup out by the extension or Ring Handle alone.
