About the MeLuna USA Team

We’re not the mainstream menstrual cup brand you’ll find on store shelves. We are a small woman-owned business located in Texas, operated by a team of three dedicated reusable period product enthusiasts.

We may not have the financial resources of the big guys, but being small can be an asset.

When we came up with the concept of bringing the successful European MeLuna line of customizable menstrual cups to the US, we knew it wouldn’t be in stores because it requires such a vast inventory to manage. We chose the customer over convenience and rely on direct sales to make it happen.
That means we focus entirely on providing unique, customizable solutions that bigger companies can’t offer.

We work closely with our MeLuna manufacturer in Germany to ensure that our FDA-cleared and registered menstrual cups are produced using the highest-quality materials and methods. Our company was built with one goal — to offer outstanding, reusable menstrual products that fully meet and exceed customer expectations.

When customers contact MeLuna USA, they reach the owner, not a call center or an anonymous customer service representative.

Karin Kohler, the owner, strives to share accurate and honest information with clients and is dedicated to running the company with integrity and transparency. Expert seamstress Tonya lends her skills to crafting high-quality products, and the company’s only other employee, Liz, assists with both the sewing and order fulfillment.

We enjoy providing a friendly work environment with fair pay and flexible schedules. MeLuna USA has the most wonderful team of caring and hardworking employees anyone could ever wish for.

However, we are humans, and we do occasionally make mistakes. If we did not meet your expectations in any way, please let us know so we can make it right. Customer satisfaction is extremely

We are available via email or live chat from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CST Monday through Friday for any customer questions or

Donations: Since MeLuna USA is an independent company that serves primarily the US, our work is focused on making a difference right here. We donate to an amazing non-profit called Cloth Connection Outreach, which distributes menstrual products to people in need.

Environmental Impact: Using reusable menstrual products such as cups, cloth pads, and period underwear reduces the waste produced by menstrual hygiene products by 98.5 percent. That's a huge mountain of garbage that will not end up in landfills.

Unique to MeLuna: Every Order at MeLuna contributes to the planting of a tree through our partnership with the Eden Reforestation Project. This unique initiative, where a % of each sale is dedicated to tree planting, is our way of supporting reforestation efforts that revive natural habitats, improve coral reef health, support local livelihoods, and combat climate change by extracting CO2 from the air.

MeLuna menstrual cups are made from TPE, not silicone. Once produced, silicone is not recyclable, while TPE can be melted and reused in other TPE products. TPE recycling is standard in Europe but has yet to be available in most US municipalities. Once TPE recycling becomes available, this is one of the few cup materials that can be recycled.
