The XL is a game changer for 3 kids + fibroids/perimenopause. I have super heavy flows (usually at least one day of 75-100mL each period) and this means I can still go about my day with just a couple changes. Very easy to insert and the suction is amazing until I'm ready to dump it. I had mainly used discs previously, thinking I wanted an even wider diameter, but this is perfect and far less messy, for me.
