Low Cervix Menstrual Cup w/Ball Handle, Shorty, Sport Firmness

This low cervix menstrual cup is called a shorty. The reduced height makes it perfect for users with low cervix position/ shorter than average vaginal canal. The firmer Sport cup provides a more secure seal and resists compression by strong pelvic muscles but it can be more challenging to insert and remove.

This menstrual cup is featured in a beautiful Sapphire blue, Amethyst purple or clear color in the shorty size range -perfect for users with a lower than average cervix.

The handle is available in all three styles:

a small ball - our least noticeable handle style, most comfortable

a ring - most noticeable and easiest to find style for users worried about  not being able to reach their cup easily

a stem - great for beginners, this style is comfortable and easy to find

This listing is for the BALL handle

Your MeLuna low cervix menstrual cup will come with the following items:

  • the MeLuna cup of your choice
  • a free cleaning brush for the air holes
  • a free MeLuna microfiber pouch
  • the instruction pamphlet

I'm happy with the brand, but still exploring my size. Going to try the standard next to see if it helps prevent leaks on heavy days. Fingers crossed.

I wish it was a little wider

I really love this cup! The firmness and the shortness is fantastic! I wish it was just slightly wider. I’ve had two large babies vaginally and could use the extra width. I did experience leaking. For the most part I love it though! If you ever make a wider shorty I will be the first to buy it!

    Pros and Cons

Posted by Alex on Sep 9th 2018

One of the more affordable brands of menstrual cups which I definitely appreciated! Learned that I have a low cervix and very strong vaginal muscles so after chatting with a rep, I opted for the sport shorty cup. Insertion is much easier than my previous cup and it is much more comfortable! However, I am still experiencing leaks no matter how much I reposition it. The leaking would be the only con for me.

    Love it!

I was using a regular cup for the last but as I started working out more I was having more leaks and issues with it. I purchased this one and have had very few leaks. I was worried about the silicone being more firm with this one but it is really comfortable.

    Can’t decide!

I replaced my softer, larger cup with the MeLuna Shorty. As a woman with mild prolapse and a cervix that sometimes drops lower than usual, the firmness and smaller size are SO much more comfortable. However, the firmness and smaller size are also the reasons why this is so difficult to remove. It’s near impossible to break the suction before pulling it downwards. I’m going to be asking my pelvic floor physical therapist for tips, but if I can’t safely remove this on a regular basis, then I will have to stop using it.

    Great Product and Customer Service

The shorty size is perfect for a low cervix and during exercise. It took me a few tries to get the right size, especially for heavy flow days, but I'm very happy with the product overall. Customer service was quick to respond as well.
