This cleaning cup was developed especially for disinfection of MeLuna menstrual cups. It is space-saving and perfectly suitable for disinfection of your MeLuna Menstrual cups!

  • Suitable for disinfection of your menstrual cup in the microwave. If you are going to be strictly using microwave disinfection the larger foldable disinfection cup can be a better choice
  • Suitable for disinfection of your menstrual cup with Milton Mini Tabs. This cup is absolutely perfect for use with the Milton tabs! It holds a MeLuna up to a Standard XL size and 100ml of water so all you need is just 1 tab!

How do I use the disinfection cup and Milton tabs?

Disinfection with Milton Mini tablets:
Fill your MeLuna cleaning cup with 75mL of cold water, then dissolve 1 Milton Mini tablet. After the tablet is completely dissolved, carefully place your MeLuna menstrual cup with the handle facing the bottom in the cleaning cup and completely submerge it. Be careful not to spill the disinfection fluid. For MeLuna menstrual cups in size L and XL the fluid may not be sufficient. Please add water until the cup is fully submerged.
Let sit for 15 minutes, then discard the disinfection fluid. The disinfection process is completed after 15 minutes, we do not recommend to extend the disinfection time! Too long disinfection times cause discoloration of the cleaning cup and the MeLuna menstrual cup. We recommend using a timer (e.g. an egg timer) to observe the disinfection time.

I've been able to try these out for a couple of periods now. They are very comfortable! I tend to have lighter periods anyway and these by themselves have been perfectly adequate for my last few days on my period. I found that they do move around some, but that they stay put a little better with the boy short type of underwear. These are my first foray into reusable menstrual products so I was nervous to try them, but they are great! Highly recommend!

Great combo of products

This is my second MeLuna purchase. I found this package when I went shopping to replace my old cup, and I wish it had been available when I got my first one. I love the cleaning cup, and the drying trays are both beautiful and functional.

And of course the MeLuna cup itself is the bomb, or I wouldn't be buying my second one!
