Menstrual Cup Steam Sterilizer

Love this!!! I was using my microwave prior and then disinfecting the microwave. Now there is no cross contamination!

Love this steamer! It is way easier than boiling your cups. I am a bit paranoid about the sterility of using cups since i'm prone to infections. So I use this steamer to sterilize every single day of my period, I feel like there is no such thing of being too sterile with a foreign object that you are putting inside your body. So I usually take my cup and put it in the steamer while I'm in the shower every morning. This gives it enough time to steam but also for my cup to sit in the steam after and cool down. Once I'm out of the shower, I insert and use my cup as normal, with rinses in between. The only concern I have about the steamer is it does retain a lot of condensation and no matter how long I let it air dry the moisture is still there. And moisture usually harbors bacteria. So i usually dry it out with a paper towel after use and the good thing is, it is a steamer and it goes to high enough temp to disinfect even itself. It is suggested in the instructions for use to put the steamer through a few cycles by itself for the first use but I actually pretty much do this EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. before I use it on my cups. Again, just my paranoia. Good thing is this sterilizer is easy to use, compact and I'd imagine it would work great for traveling too!

Easy was to disinfect!

i've been using cups for going on almost 5-6 years now, but the one thing i consistently forgot to do was disenfect regularly between cycles. this has made it such an easy and convienent way to do so. i'm so glad i bought it. definetly make sure you're not adding much water in the middle though, it doesn't seem to work at all if you put too much in there.

The steamer was simple and easy to use! I have many cups so the steamer help me keep them all clean.
